Riesling 2015

Our Signature wines are deeply influenced by old world wine making techniques, lovingly handcrafted in small batch quantities, we craft these wines to reflect the “Signature” – the attributes and characteristics of the vineyard from which they originate.

Quite a soft and board style with apricot, mango and a hint of honey. Smoothly textured and ripe with good balance of sweetness and acidity.

Misty Cove Signature Riesling is best enjoyed with a wide range of dishes including shrimp, scallops, mussels, clams, fish and chicken. Add spice to the dish and it will pair perfectly with the slightly off- dry finish.



Fruit hand harvested from our Rapuara Vineyard, whole bunch pressed and gently extracted free run portion separated. Resultant juices were cold settling for 2-3 days before racking to ferment which was completed in stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures. Once fermentation was complete, the wine was left on fermentation lees for 16 weeks to add texture.
