2023 Estate Sauvignon Blanc

Misty Cove’s Estate Sauvignon Blanc captures the essence of Marlborough’s sub-regional characters. Lovingly handcrafted and produced from our vineyards in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys, this wine captures Marlborough’s unique environment.

Produced from our rich Marlborough soils, the Misty Cove Estate Sauvignon Blanc celebrates the region’s character and earthy charm as well as giving a nod to good times. This refreshing and lively wine is sure to please with a lingering aftertaste.

The fruit was carefully harvested in the cool of the morning and taken straight to the winery to enhance varietal characteristics. It was then gently pressed, cold settled and fermented in stainless steel tanks with aromatic yeasts to capture the vibrant fruit flavours and aromatics from our vineyards.

Winemaking

The fruit for our Estate Series Sauvignon Blanc was sourced from our vineyards in the Wairau and Waihopai Valleys. Harvested in the cool of the night then cool fermented with selected yeasts strains to enhance varietal characteristics. Bottled early to capture the true essence of Marlborough: fruit freshness and zing!
