2022 Estate Series

More chains than Lil' Wayne. More bling than a pinky diamond ring. Our multi-award winning Pinot Gris started off as a bit of a gamble that turned into an overnight sensation. We thought: 'Hmmm, let's be cheeky and throw down the best damn Pinot Gris ever produced in a region known for Sauvignon Blanc.' We did that, and yeah... Throw down baby.

PERFECT PAIRING

Pinot Gris is a well-balanced aromatic white, making it pair best with smokey or spice. That's why we get creative with the BBQ when we turn up with a bottle of this stuff. Great for a Summer's day with smokey pulled pork, spicy beef ribs and creamy mushrooms on toast. You're also gonna wanna break out some horseradish, homemade Brussels type pâté and while you're at it lock in a smoked salmon.

TOP RANK WINE – Currently #1 of 29

"Appealing, fruity pinot gris with floral, honeysuckle, rose petal, pear, tree fruit and ripe apple flavours. A hint of sweetness is perfectly balanced by fresh acidity to give the wine a crisp, dry and mouth-watering finish."

Winemaking

The fruit was harvested in the cool of the morning and soaked on skins for 6 hours. Fermented with the unique combination of yeast that produces mouthfeel and texture.

Our Pinot Gris is lovingly handcrafted and produced from the Upper Wairau Valley vineyard where stony old riverbed soils help create a floral and fleshy wine that truly captures Marlborough’s unique environment.
