Melancholy like an 1980s post-punk band from Manchester, our southernmost vineyard sits proud above the rugged Kekerengu coastline and overlooks the vast Pacific Ocean from which it is deeply influenced. A challenging environment that is a narrow stretch between sea and mountain, “Kekerengu” expresses a unique and intense interpretation of a Marlborough SauvyB.

Like cold water surf for the senses.

HOW IT GOES DOWN

Bone dry and beautifully complex. This is pure SauvyB at its citrus driven best. With green mango and stony minerality, this wine reflects the austere landscape upon which the fruit is grown. This is is a truly individual wine - youthful, herbacious with a long dry finish. A real experience.

2021 Vintage

"It’s beautifully aromatic on the nose showing Granny Smith apple, jalapeno, rockmelon and kaffir lime notes, leading to a brilliantly punchy palate that’s juicy and lingering. Filled with delicious flavours and super long on the finish. At its best: now to 2025."

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

95/100

"The coastal district of Kekerengu boasts limestone-laced soils which have given this wine a saline, oyster-shell character together with lime, gooseberry and passionfruit flavours. A vibrant, edgy wine—a perfect match with freshly-shucked oysters garnished with a squeeze of lime."

Bob Campbell - The Real Review

Winemaking

Hand-picked and lovingly handcrafted, we crafted this wine to reflect its extreme maritime climate and characteristics of which it originated.

The lingering palate is savoury and bone dry with hints of sea salt, zesty lime, capsicum, fresh herb and delicate passionfruit flavours.

Made in a small batch, Kekerengu Sauvignon Blanc will be sure to impress.
