Perfect pairing

This wine is simply exquisite when paired with fresh seasonal salads and seafood dishes like salmon, scallops, oysters, or pan-fried fish. Its natural acidity is perfectly complemented by tangy cheeses like goat cheese. And if you're craving something meatier, its texture and weight from Sur Lie ageing make it an exceptional choice for chicken-based dishes or roasted pork.

Winemaking

Landmark Sauvignon Blanc is a Sur Lie wine (French for "on the lees"); six months on lees has added an extra layer of flavour and richness, further developing mid-palate weight and adding greater depth and complexity to the already intense fruit characters.

The fruit is sourced exclusively from our Fareham Lane vineyard. It is hand harvested and fermented at cool temperatures in stainless settle tanks after gentle pressing.

James Suckling

"Fragrant notes of lemon blossoms, guavas, gooseberries and lemon curd on the nose, with hints of flint. It’s fruity, medium-bodied and creamy on the palate. Cool finish"

Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

"It’s fabulously aromatic on the nose, showing feijoa, kiwifruit, honeydew melon and kaffir lime characters, followed by a concentrated palate delivering awesome fruit purity and power. Wonderfully expressed with loads of delicious flavours. At its best: now to 2027."

Stephen Wong, The Real Review

"Herbaceous and cutting, the nose has punchy green fruit and fresh celery layered with subtle minerality. With air, more pungent thiols and green kiwifruit emerge. The palate is zesty, refreshing and dry. Packed with kiwifruit flavours, a streak of salinity and a weighty palate, it tapers down to a textured finish where fruit gives way to smoky flint. Fruity without being a blockbuster, this has just enough complexity to balance it."
